The VP89 is a professional modular shotgun microphone designed for demanding AV productions. Its modular design offers great flexibility of use with 3 interchangeable long, medium and short capsules. With its hypercardioid polar pattern, the VP89 offers different coverage angles depending on the capsule used: 70° for the VP89S (short capsule), 50° for the VP89M (medium capsule) and 30° for the VP89L (long capsule). It incorporates a low-noise Class A amplifier and is equipped with a switchable low-cut filter. The VP89 is very rugged and able to withstand the rigors of outdoor broadcasting, whether in terms of negative or positive temperature, or humidity. Various accessories such as Rycote high protection lenses, pistol grip and camera mounting systems are available as options.
