The ME 66 is a microphone module for the K6 and K6P power handles. It is intended primarily for news gathering, film productions and for recording very subtle signals in noisy or highly reverberant environments, with off-axis sounds being suppressed very effectively. Outer surface: matt black anodised, scratch resistant.
Strongly directional, with low induced noise, high sensitivity and extended frequency response, the ME 66 is particularly suitable for capturing soft signals in noisy or acoustically lively environments as it screens out sound not coming from the main direction of capture. Suitable windscreens include the MZW 66 and MZW 66 PRO. Rycote's Softie windscreens are also available. Applications: newsgathering, film, and on-location film and broadcast work. Frequency response: 40-20,000 Hz. Dimensions: 221 x 22.5 (length x maximum diameter) mm. Weight: 65 g. Supercardioid/lobe Very pronounced directionality Low self-noise High efficiency Wide frequency response
