The 6060 CORE subminiature microphones measure only 3 mm (0.12 in), but offer the audio power of our larger, award-winning DPA microphones. What they lack in size, they more than make up for in clarity, coherence and durability - three qualities that really matter. By scaling down CORE by DPA, we're making sure you don't have to compromise on sound to focus on aesthetics.

We've taken the amazing CORE technology and scaled it down to our subminiature (0.12 in) microphones. This means that, despite their small size, the performance of the 6060 CORE Subminiature Series is fully comparable to that of the world-renowned 5 mm (0.20 in) miniature capsules. These subminiatures have a lower noise floor than any other 3 mm (0.12 in) capsule on the market and are better able to capture high sound pressure levels without distortion. In terms of technical specifications, the 6061 has a noise floor of only 26 dB(A), which is comparable to 5 mm (0.20 in) DPA miniature capsules.
